Fryat Yemane (Tigrigna: ፍርያት የማነ; born October
1, 1991) is an Ethiopian actress, television host and model. Fryat
was nominated best actress of the year on Leza Art Award for her performance
on Wefe Komech, 2016 film. Fryat has been nominated best
actress of the year on Ethio Zodiac Award for her performance in the film Maya (2017) and
recently awarded for best independent actress on Hollywood Africa Prestigious
Award (2017) for her performance in the film titled Begize. Fryat
made her screen debut in Gudegna Nech (2014), when she happen
upon Yonatan Worku a film producer who discovered her in one life incident for
his new movie Gudegna Nech. though Fryat had the passion of
becoming an actress since young age, but for some reason it did not come about
even though she had the chance receiving a proposal to perform from several
film producers.
Early Life and Family
Born in Ethiopia, Fryat is the daughter of Yemane Gebremichael and
her mother is called Sesen. Her parents used to reside in Gondar in the
virtue of work, meanwhile Fryat was born and stayed in Gondar until
they moved back to their hometown Mekelle. Fryat has
a bachelor of art degree in Business Management from Hawassa University . Currently Fryat lives
in Addis
Ababa, where she does all her occupation from and where she runs a
restaurant with a foreign and native cuisine.
Career
Fryat's performance in Gudegna Nech brought
her well receive and massive popularity with the mass audience. Fryat's playing
performance and picturesqueness beauty bound producers and directors to secure
her signing for their upcoming and this opened a gateway for her to star
continuously in Yesefere Lij, Wefe Komech, Begize, Yamral
Agere and Maya. The name Fryat became most recognized name
within a very short period of time in the film and entertainment arena. She
also performed well in music clip of Temesgen Gebregziabher titled Korahubsh Furthermore,
taking part in the recent huge hit music video of Dawit Negga, titled Zewidero,
that has reintroduce and brought Fryat furthermore to a spotlight.

Since September 11, 2017, Fryat appeared on TV show on EBS
TV where she co-host in Sunday with EBS with Asfaw
Meshesha. She also recently started her own business in traditional clothing
sector by launching her fascinating cloth brand called "DirMug by
Fryat" and running her business here in Ethiopia and abroad.
